A few days ago on the realization of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau in 2020 to control greenhouse gas emissions in China the issue of collective learning operational goals. Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute for Urban Development and Environment Pan Jiahua, a researcher, the National Development and Reform Commission, Xu Huaqing, Energy Research Institute, researchers gave talks, and talk about their views and suggestions. China is still in the initial stage of industrialization, energy saving and still has more room for stock market investors should be attracted sufficient attention.

The general idea of the development of low-carbon economy

China is still in the early stages of industrialization, but we kind of development, could not repeat the early development of capitalism, the kind of resources the practice of predatory destruction, but to adhere to scientific development, insisting that the carrying capacity of natural environment, economic and social development planning, great efforts to make energy conservation, energy efficiency, vigorously develop and promote climate-friendly technology to continuously improve the ability to address climate change. According to this line of thought, and vigorously develop energy-saving technologies, is to promote economic development must focus on one aspect of attention. Politburo collective study has even demonstrated the importance of China’s high-level of this. From the high-level attitude, the international situation, China’s economic structural adjustment, the urgency of view, low-carbon economy has good prospects for development.

Energy-saving technology in reducing carbon emissions at the same time, give businesses the economic benefits achieved by one. To improve energy efficiency, energy-saving priority, particularly in the industrial energy efficiency, building energy efficiency, transport energy have more space. However, investors must understand is that because of new energy technologies, the price in the short term is still government-led, not a lot of market space. China’s development of low-carbon economy, the general idea is:

First, the low-carbon economy depends on the market to operate. A low-carbon economy can not always take the route led by the government to rely on market mechanisms to address. Therefore, the pricing of low-carbon economy has become the key to development, the Chinese Government will give priority to low-cost, low-carbon economy.

Second, the development of low-carbon economy should not blindly hopes adjustment to industries and energy structure. China is still in the industrialization and urbanization and the construction phase, can not be blindly suppress heavy industry.

Third, the pursuit of joint development of a low-carbon and the economy. Low-carbon economy is ultimately a development issue, to serve economic development.

Have more room for energy-saving construction traffic

In the stage of industrialization, improving energy efficiency is to reduce carbon emissions the most effective manner, and the energy efficiency of space very large. For example, building energy conservation. In the developed economies, the one-third of the building emissions, one-third of transport emissions, one-third of industrial emissions. China now accounts for the bulk of industrial emissions, traffic and emissions of less architectural. However, with the improvement of living standards, more and more residents living space, housing quality, higher and higher, if we are to emulate Europe’s zero-emission buildings, energy-saving piece of the building has great potential. Industrial energy efficiency improvements space very large. Because China is a developing country, the most advanced technology, the most backward technology, too.

In the field of transportation, air traffic fuel consumption is much higher than ground transportation: cars with low efficiency compared to more than double; and large-capacity and high-speed rail compared to bus and at least 3-4 times higher than . Now Airbus Beijing to Shanghai, one-hour trip to the future high-speed rail if completed, an hour trip, basically do not need the plane, the same convenient services, but emissions were only a quarter of the original to five one-. Cars are no longer only the burning of oil and liquefied natural gas, there are now hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles and so on. Electric vehicle can reach 150 kilometers per hour, can run as far as 400 km, if the battery performance, no matter how good that a little more powerful, competitive edge would be even greater. Solar cars, hydrogen fuel cell technologies are under development, if the maturity of our transport services will achieve little or even zero emissions of carbon emissions.

China’s renewable energy-rich

China’s renewable energy resources are abundant, although its costs are high, but a considerable number of already commercialized. For example, solar water heaters, small rural marsh gas, using a very common; water and electricity, a good part of the development of wind power (such as the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang of wind power), etc., are also very competitive; China each year to use straw and other biomass crops energy, equivalent to about 300 million tons coal equivalent, if the total annual energy consumption of goods was 30 million tons, has been commercialized renewable energy sources can be further promoted.

Solar PV, solar thermal power generation are two kinds of technology is now running. Europe has an ambitious project planning, preparation for building the Sahara desert in Africa, a large solar thermal power plants, and then build long-distance power transmission system, the power transmission to Europe. China has a vast Gobi Desert, if the solar power technology is mature, the development of the Gobi Desert prospects are very bright. Now we can carry out R & D investment, good preparation.

In addition, our lives are also more energy-efficient space. Energy-saving lamps, solar water heaters, building energy-saving heating and transformation of refrigeration equipment with a large number of energy-saving potential, but also a certain economic applicability.

Taken together, the opportunity is greater than energy-saving industry, new energy, reducing expenditure is greater than open source. In the energy industry, we recommend focus on building energy conservation, new energy automotive batteries, industrial energy efficiency.

Why?

I have no problem with rebuilding our roads, bridges and schools. But that is a very small portion in this bill. only about 50 billion. This is should be the largest part of this investment. Not just a side note.

I don’t actually agree with the so called green energy ideals. Solar panels are nothing but a joke, but if Wind turbines can in fact make elec. and do so in a way that it makes everyone’s elec. bill less, then go for it. But the people need to see the savings on their elec. bills, not just on paper.

As president, Hillary will:

Lower taxes for middle class families by: extending the middle class tax cuts including child tax credit and marriage penalty relief, offering new tax cuts for healthcare, college and retirement, and expanding the EITC and the child care tax credit.
Harness the power of innovation to create high wage jobs of the 21st Century. Investments in alternative energy can create new jobs for the 21st century; expanded access to broadband will bring opportunities to underserved and disadvantaged communities; the manufacturing base can be re-energized through creative partnerships; and increased government support for research will stimulate the development of new technologies and life-saving medicines. Hillary will restore integrity to science policy, reversing Bush administration policies that are holding our nation back.
Empower our workers and ensure that all Americans contribute their fair share. Hillary will ensure that unions, which have played an important role in forming and sustaining the middle class, are strong. She will also ensure that trade policies work for average Americans. Trade policy must raise our standard of living, and they must have strong protections for workers and the environment.
Restore the basic bargain. Hillary will restore the basic bargain that if Americans work hard and take responsibility, government will do its part to make sure they have the tools to get ahead.
Return to fiscal responsibility. After six and a half year of President Bush’s fiscal irresponsibility, Hillary wants America to regain control of its destiny. She will move back toward a balanced budget and surpluses. Hillary believes that we should develop a set of budget rules similar to those we had in the 90s which required us to fund new expenditures with new revenues or cuts in other areas.
Keep the rhetoric going it is really making people think twice about Obama!

We all know that going green is good to Mother Nature. It’s good to conserve energy and help save the dying planet. Yes, the planet is slowly dying because of our deeds. Men have been polluting the atmosphere like never before and cutting trees that are extremely important for ecological balance. If things are continue to go awry, scientists predict that in a few decades there will be a catastrophic change in climate which may lead to warmer climate, unpredictable weather etc.

Men don’t seem to care about all things they do, but keep on doing it. It’s only in the last couple of decades, the awareness about why we have to go green and conserve energy to save the earth from any damage. To this end many companies are launching green products to their customers in a bid to promote energy conservation and environmentalism. It’s good to produce, market and use renewable products so that they are not wasted once they are used. Renewable products can be recycled and used many times.

Taking Back America ? This is My Country!

Yes it is time for change!

If the people of America want to get control of their country now is the time but it can only happen if they take responsibility for what happens in their country. You see, people seem to have forgotten the rest of the story when it comes to our Bill of Rights. When they published the full title of the Amendments to the Constitution the editors left out part of the title. It should have read the Bill of Rights and Responsibilities.

A while ago period, the international oil prices surged, then a trip to collapse, such as a roller coaster. Since 1 July continued to rise to 147 yuan / barrel level in the weak market situation may seem, the basic continuity in August oil prices decline last month, now back down to 114 U.S. dollars / barrel near the largest decline has been more than 20% ; then, is the next soaring oil prices this side of the tracks along the continuous fall go? Rational analysis, we consider this unlikely. Despite the recent tensions in the international situation; global natural disasters continue to fuel oil producing countries in particular?? The United States into the hurricane season; the global economy is relatively depressed; but these are short-term behavior, and not wear down the international oil price system. Therefore, conventional oil is not the contradiction between energy supply still exist, and will become more significant.

Our 21st Century Future: Alternative Energy

Some US$22 trillion new global energy investments are needed in all stages of the energy supply chain to power the global community for the next two decades until year 2030.

International analysts observe: the global energy demand is projected to shoot up by 55 percent, according to the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) most recent World Energy Outlook.

And more of IEA’s facts: that some $118.9 million appropriation is allocated for the US Department of Energy’s carbon sequestration program, with a pending budget request of $149 million carbon capture and storage (CCS) , a technology that is indispensable in dealing with concerns about energy and climate.
