This is only one State…………….If this doesn’t open eyes, nothing will!

        From  the L. A.  Times

        1. 40% of all workers in L.. A. County ( L.A. County has 10.2 million people)are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.

        2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

        3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

        4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers..

        5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

        6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8 Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
9. 21 radio stations in L.. A. are Spanish speaking.
10.. In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.
(There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County. )

          (All 10 of the above facts were published in the Los Angeles Times)

           Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ‘ annual population growth(and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens .

          We are fools for letting this continue

          HOW  CAN YOU HELP  ?

           Send copies of this letter to at least two other people. 100 would be even better.
This  is only  one  State…………….

        If this doesn’t open your eyes nothing will, and you wonder why Nancy Pelosi wants them to become voters!

                                                        *************************************
LET’S IMPEACH HER NOW BEFORE SHE DOES FURTHER DAMAGE!! WHAT AN IDIOT!!
IF YOU DON’T AGREE JUST DELETE–IF YOU DO–PASS IT ON!! WHERE DO WE GET THESE MORONS’

        Windfall  Tax on Retirement Income
Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of saying to the American people, you’re so darn stupid that we’re going to keep doing this until we drain every cent from you. That’s what the Speaker of the House is saying. Read below…………….
Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income.. In other words tax what you have made by investing toward your retirement. This woman is a nut case! You aren’t going to believe this.
Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds! Alas, it is true – all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities!
This woman is  frightening.
She quotes…’ We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn’t Marx say something like this?), in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.’ (I am not rich, are you?)
When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied:
‘We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as ‘Americans’.’
(Read that quote again and again and let it sink in.) ‘Lower your retirement, give it to others who have not worked as you have for it’.
Send it on to your friends. I just did!! This lady is out of her mind and she is the speaker of the house!

In a move that may surprise both solar investors and solar energy users, Tempe, Arizona-based First Solar shares have come under fire by FBR Capital Markets Analyst Mehdi Hosseini.

First Solar, one of the nation’s premier manufacturers of thin-film solar for use in large-scale, grid-connected solar plants, had up to now appeared to be ahead of the game, with thin film applications proven superior in performance and cost savings in such venues as the South San Joaquin Irrigation District (SSJID) water treatment plant in California.

There, Conergy’s 1.6 megawatt crystalline photovoltaic installation has so far competed unsuccessfully with First Solar’s 419 kilowatt thin-film installation, both operating on single-axis solar trackers.

This comparison, also known as the Robert O. Schultz Solar Farm, is being tracked by San Jose-based Fat Spaniel Technologies, an independent provider of monitoring and reporting services for the renewable energy industry, and Conergy’s Western U.S. Project Director David Vincent admits that early Fat Spaniel data indicates that the output of the thin-film modules is about 10 percent greater than that of the crystalline modules, even given the fact that thin-film technology is about 10-percent cheaper than crystalline PV technology.

On Tuesday, Hosseini cut his rating of First Solar from Market Perform to Underperform, setting a target price of $110 per share, well below the May 22 close of $191.72. Hosseini bases the downgrade on the fact that one of First Solar’s top customers recently switched to a silicon-based module for a project currently under construction. Hosseini also noted that KfW, a German development bank vested in financing solar projects, says that only 55 percent of its current projects are thin film, as compared to 80 percent in 2008.

It’s a surprising move given thin-film’s recent advances in cutting degradation from sunlight (the Staebler-Wronski Effect) by developing multiple layers of thin-film strata and the use of such elements as germanium in base layers to reduce band gap and improve light absorption. And data from the Shultz Solar Farm indicate improvements in solar-capture efficiencies that far surpass previous maximum levels of 18 percent efficiency in solar capture.

Such moves on the part of stock analysts, who are not intimately involved in solar technology, threaten the progress of thin film as a commercially viable solar energy solution, and force thin film back to its niche market in low power designs, consumer electronics and building-integrated applications. Hosseini’s rating will further dry up the venture capital market even for those thin-film start-ups which have discovered unique and environmentally valuable ways to make thin film perform on a par with silicone solar technology.

In 1967, Green Bay beat Kansas City by 25 points in the first Super Bowl. Suppose they played in another game and Green Bay beat Kansas City by 21 points. If a total of 47 points were scored, what was the final score of the game?

Problem #2

A teacher has a choice of two investment plans: an insured fund that has paid an average of 11% interest per year, or a riskier investment that has averaged a 15% return. If the same amount invested at the higher rate would generate an extra $190 per year, how much does the teacher have to invest?

I’ll start. E85 is a mostly renewable fuel made from grains and plant matter right here in the U.S.A., not imported from overseas. That means more jobs for U.S. workers and more money stays in the U.S. economy. Even corn ethanol provides 1.5+ units of energy for each unit of fossil fuel energy involved (the sun provides the rest). Only 1/6 of a gallon of petroleum goes into making 1 gallon of corn ethanol–even better with other ethanol feed stocks! Flex Fuel Vehicles often only experience a 10% to 20% decrease in fuel economy, while one myth is that it is reduced 30% (low E85 fuel prices make up the 10% to 20% difference). There will be untrue negative myths posted to this question, but I am counting on those who actually use E85 fuel to refute and educate!

The recent banking crisis can be attributed to the failure of this system to allocate money to where is needed, but rather over allocated to an excess sector like housing. Bailout will violate the principle of free market but saving a system that made serious mistake. Why not the government take control with direct investment in education, health care, alternative energy to create jobs and economic activities instead of saving a failed banking system? Many countries after the WWII such as Japan has government controlled strategic investment and produce good economic results. Is bailout of the banks really a solution that make sense or just because the politics? can someone explain to me?

I can see alternative energy sources as being the future for United States energy consumption as gas and oil prices fluctuate drastically. I am currently 18 and am going to join the military so I can have a lot of my college paid for. Currently I have 10,000 stashed away in gold investments and mutual funds that i was going to put towards my 401k. Anyways I was wondering which alternative energy has the most money in it (six figures)? What jobs in the alternative energy industry can I go into with only a bachelors degree in college that will give me six figure potential? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I live near Sweetwater, Texas and wind energy is really big around here. I don’t know how much money is in it though.

She needs 2 tour buses and 2 semi trucks to haul all her stuff…hypocrite…if she can make money it’s okay to pollute?

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/celebrity/sheryl-crow-queen-green

AUGUST 11–Touring the United States and Europe this year, Sheryl Crow arrives at venues with an assortment of environmental demands certain to vex concert promoters, according to a review of the musician’s 2010 backstage rider.

The document, excerpted here, actually has a 2-1/2 page “environmental portion” to be “strictly followed and policed.” Seeking to “minimize the overall environmental impact of our tour,” Crow demands that only biodegradable cups and dinnerware be used by the caterer. Produce should be “organic and purchased from local suppliers as much as possible.” And for the five backstage “watering stations,” water “must be sourced from a local spring water vendor.”

According to Crow’s rider, her tour party travels between gigs in two 45-foot buses, while her equipment is packed into two tractor-trailers.

Crow, 48, also offers promoters “venue greening suggestions.” She wants “traditional light bulbs” swapped out for compact fluorescent bulbs in “all offices, dressing rooms and common areas.” “Eco-friendly cleaning and bathroom products” and “post-consumer recycled toilet paper and paper towel” should also be used. Crow’s rider also notes that, “We strongly encourage you to use renewable sources and/or to buy sustainable energy credits where possible. Many local utilities offer ‘green power’ as an option–please check with yours and opt in.”

The document also details how Crow’s backstage hospitality room is to be stocked. The singer needs an assortment of “biodegradable non-petroleum cups” and 24 “disposable napkins made of 100% recycled fiber.” Crow’s rider also lists a wide variety of drinks and snacks that she needs, including organic coconut water and two bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon (“Sheryl’s Favorite” is Stag’s Leap Artemis). Two “good quality, dark, organic chocolate bars” are described as “***VERY IMPORTANT***”

If you are racking your brains on how to raise funds for your organization or local charity, the Golf Tournament may be just the right tool for you. However, bear in mind that a worthy cause does not always guarantee an event’s success. To ensure success, you need to partner the right people, delegate sensibly, and do your marketing aggressively.

Why a Golf Tournament?

A high profile Golf Tournament enables your organization to build stronger relationships and acquire new business in today’s fast pace world. You see, golf’s popularity has become an effective way of bringing customers and partners together. The networking that ensues within this non-threatening atmosphere can only lead to positive synergies, potential business tie-ups and increased business deals.

Delegating

A lot of hard work is needed before you can achieve a grand fund raiser. You need a committee that is highly talented and motivated to get the right people such as participants and sponsors in place and enthused from day one.

You will need many reliable volunteers to assist the Judges and welcome the participants on that day. But before that, volunteers or a committee are needed to send out weekly progress e-mails or newsletters to all participants and partners, to keep them well informed as well. This will get the momentum and excitement level going.

Choosing a high profile golf course will give your company instant credibility and good public relations mileage. However some championship courses may set you back several thousand dollars in daily rental. Instead of negotiating for reduced green fees, it will be wise to secure a corporate sponsor for this large bill.

Partnership

The greatest Return on Investment (R.O.I) for both you and your sponsors would be in the form of a partnership. A strong partnership will go beyond promotional activities where you merely stick their logo all over the green. If you are short on ideas and have difficulty securing partnerships, you may want to turn to specialists Lynn Brown and Mike Mucci. These two veterans have set up a company to teach golf-tournament-planner hopefuls the ropes of the trade. They have step-by-step guides to ensure your marketing campaign gets off to a flying start. In addition, with their wealth of experience, this company can help you secure big sponsorship sums and turn your fund raiser into a major success.

Effective Marketing

Participants are drawn to attractive prizes. Besides giving away the mandatory “door gifts”, you may want to secure a strong partner who is willing to give away a large prize in line with their corporate public relations program.

News on your event should be broadcast in the media and on your website. In addition, corporate partners and company owners should be contacted to participate in your worthy cause.

To generate further publicity, take group photographs of your golfers, and together with their names, designations and companies, have them inserted into your newsletters to provide terrific pre-golfing publicity at the close of your event, to generate interest for the following year’s event.

Your Celebratory Dinner

After a good game, your committees and participants should be given a good dinner to celebrate the successful occasion as well as listen to the announcement of the results and objectives that have been accomplished. This will leave everyone with a good feeling and have them looking forward to next year’s Golf Tournament Fund Raiser.

Five years ago,Estevan Mark was an accounts clerk making $17k annually.Then one day,he chanced upon Golf Tournament Planning Toolkit.

It’s really bad! Be as critical as possible without being mean!
Candidates’ Environmental Plans

              Polar bears are going extinct because of the melting ice burgs. The temperature is increasing 5°C every century. Global warming is causing the ozone layer, Earth’s protection against the sun’s harmful rays, to become weaker. These dilemmas are all part of one issue in our election: the environment . Both candidates devised plans to improve the environment in our country. Their plans will cover pollution, alternative energies and fuels, drilling for oil, cars, greenhouse gas emissions, green jobs, and much more. Both candidates acknowledge the fact that human pollution is a significant cause of global warming, but who has the best plan to help solve that and other problems? Barack Obama and John McCain have very different views on this subject.
Senator Obama has a very strong environmental plan. He is very supportive in investments in alternative forms of energy. He plans to spend $150 billion in environmental- friendly energies and fuels in the next ten years. I’m pleased that he is putting so much devotion in alternative energy, but where does that “investment” come from? Inevitably , some of that mammoth amount will have to come from our taxes. This democrat will produce new businesses working on wind, solar, and bio-fuels, along with millions of new “green” jobs. That will help the economy immensely. Barack Obama says 1 million hybrid cars will be running by 2050 if he becomes president. They run on batteries, and don’t require gas. Also, by 2012, 10% of electricity will be renewable, and greenhouse gases will be lowered 80% by 2050. He will try to eliminate oil imports from the Middle East within ten years. This means less taxes on gas. He mostly opposes drilling for oil domestically, but might do it as a last resort. He is neutral on nuclear energy, since it would be very expensive. Also, Barack Obama will require all cars to meet fuel efficiency expectations, so it will take less fuel to fill up American’s tanks. He supports the protection of natural places from development, which I believe all Americans should do. Humans have already destroyed the homes of too many animals. However, the senator is neutral on schemes to help save endangered species from extinction. In my opinion, this is despicable. We should transfer the energy and effort we put into unimportant matters to helping our fellow animals live happy lives and flourish. Although Barack Obama’s plan is wonderful, do they measure up to John McCain’s?
John McCain has a well- developed solution to the environmental issue. His energy plan is called the Lexington Project. This plan will help America break dependency with foreign oil, improve transportation, promote energy efficiency, and help global warming. McCain states, “In a world of hostile and unstable suppliers of oil, this nation will achieve strategic independence by 2025.” McCain will reward people who buy clean cars. The “Clean Car Challenge” will provide a $5000 tax credit to any purchaser of a zero carbon emission car. Also, he will require automakers to switch to flex fuel, which lasts longer and is better for the environment than regular fuel. He will use and create new alternative energies and fuels, but won’t make investments as large as his opponent. He strongly supports nuclear energy, unlike Barack Obama. He says it is very safe; the military has been using it for years. John McCain also plans to drill for oil in Alaska. This will lower prices in ten years. The republican says it is a long process that will pay off in the end. Although it would be helpful, there is a chance it can result in a lot of pollution if the oil spills. To people concerned about that, Senator McCain says that the ships are very secure, so a spill would be unlikely. He plans to drill in the National Petroleum Reserve, but not in the Artic Wildlife Refuge. I believe that both of these places should be left untouched. They are protected for a reason; they’re pristine and beautiful in every way. John McCain will lower greenhouse gas emissions 50- 60% by 2050, 30- 20% less than Barack Obama plans to lower it. As you can see, McCain also has a well- thought out energy/ environment plan.
Now that you know each candidate’s methods to improve the environment, it is time for you to make the decision: Barack Obama or John McCain? You are not only voting for president, you are voting for the course of action to put an end to global warming, prevent pollution, fuel our cars, saves the polar bears, and much more. It is a very critical time, and everybody needs to use their voice. Vote 2008!

thank you!
So, it would be “increasing 5 degrees C (41 degrees F)”?
I know I kept on repeating words, so can you tell me what words I repeated the most, and good words to replace it?

Corporate response: Competitive response and risk management
Corporations are faced with meeting economic, environmental and social goals. There are two key ways in which corporations will respond within the economics of climate change:

· Competitive response and developing the opportunity set – mainly focuses on mitigation. Climate change becomes a focus of corporate attention and corporations launch new business opportunities;
· Risk management – mainly focuses on adaptation and corporate responsibility. Increasingly, markets will start to focus on the net carbon position of companies and businesses will integrate climate change risk into their policies and procedures.

Increased corporate focus on climate change
Over the past year, the public discourse on climate change has been active:

· In advance of the Bali conference, 150 leaders of global companies issued a communiqué underscoring the urgency of climate change action. The business leaders wrote that a legally binding UN agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is necessary for businesses to make the right investments in clean technologies and infrastructure, and that an extended carbon market needs to be part of the framework because it allows for flexibility and a low-cost transition to a low-carbon economy;
· As businesses have advocated for a robust post-Kyoto agreement, companies are channelling funds towards increasing the supply of clean technology and investment in the sector has grown;
· Businesses also have been vocal at the G8, underscoring the need for a ‘rapid and fundamental strategy to reach a low-carbon world economy’ in a paper delivered to Prime Minister Fukada of Japan at the G8 meeting in Hokkaido-Toyako;
· A McKinsey survey reveals that 60% of global executives regard climate change as strategically important and a majority consider it important to product development, investment planning and brand management. 34% of executives in China, 37% of those in Europe and 40% of respondents in India report that their companies frequently or always consider climate change in overall strategy.

Competitive Response – Where are the opportunities?
Markets for climate change products and climate change-related businesses are growing fast:

· In 2007, there were nearly 500 Private Equity and Venture Capital deals in climate change – representing $13.5 billion of investment. This is up 46% from 2006;
· There were 1,900 Private Equity and Venture Capital investors in climate change in 2007;
· In 2007, Germany, China and the United States were the leading investors in new renewable energy capacity with $14 billion, $12 billion and $10 billion respectively;
· There are close to 300 mutual fund managers acting in the climate change space, along with a growing number of hedge funds and private equity managers;
· No less an oilman than T. Boone Pickens has announced plans to build 4 GW of wind capacity in Texas – and is running commercials promoting alternative energy;
· Renewable businesses are growing to scale. Iberdrola Renovables was the second biggest IPO of 2007 by funds raised, with a deal value of $6 billion – and the funds raised by IPOs for clean tech companies across the board increased by over 300%, from $7.5 billion in 2006 to $32 billion in 2007;
· As part of the Masdar Initiative, Abu Dhabi – an emirate that holds about 8% of the world’s oil reserves – broke ground in 2008 on a revolutionary clean city. The broader initiative, which was launched in 2006, aims to promote energy efficiency and develop alternative sources of energy and $15 billion has been announced for new green investments;
· Alternative energy dominates capacity additions in some markets: wind made up 40% of newly installed electric power generation capacity in Europe in 2007;
· Estimates show that the global market for emissions trading will soon be worth $150 billion;
· Global investment in sustainable energy broke all previous records with $148.4 billion of new money raised in 2007, an increase of 60% over 2006;
· The IEA forecasts a massive scale-up of investment to $45 trillion in order to meet the joint objectives of build-out of the energy infrastructure and mitigation of climate change.

Risk Management – What are the risks and how are they being managed?

· The insurance industry has already begun to feel the effects of climate change and takes the issue seriously. In the US insurers have started to cancel homeowner policies in hurricane and wildfire risk areas;
· In 2007, a group of global insurers, re-insurers and brokers developed a set of ‘ClimateWise’ principles in response to global warming, designed to promote greener policies. The principles will enable companies throughout the world to build climate change into their business operations;
· Some insurance companies are already adjusting their products and services to suit emerging markets that have resulted from climate change such as weather risk, carbon trading and the clean technology industry;
· The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) operates to create lasting relationships between shareholders and corporations regarding implications for shareholder value and commercial operations presented by climate change. It represents 385 institutional investors with a combined $57.5 trillion of assets under management;
· A coalition in the US, led by Ceres, has encouraged improved climate change disclosure and governance at dozens of companies and has engaged with regulators such as the Securities and Exchange Commission by calling for publicly traded companies to assess and fully disclose their financial risks from climate change;
· We are seeing more attempts to measure the net carbon position of companies and then assess carbon risk or carbon beta.

In summary, Climate Change awareness and Clean Technology is here to stay, and is rapidly becoming a mainstream agenda item for most companies – regardless of the product, demographic, and sector.

Sun, the magnificent ruler of the solar system has a lot to offer to its favorite planet, the earth in the form of solar energy. The earth is the only planet in the solar system that is perfectly placed to receive energy from the sun which is optimum to sustain life. The others planets are either too cold or too hot. The solar energy is one of the many sources of renewable energy that have gained significance in the past few decades in the context of diminishing non renewable sources such as coal, petroleum, kerosene etc.

A measure of an infinite stock

Of the total solar energy that reaches the earth, about 30 percent is reflected back and the rest is absorbed by rivers, oceans and other processes on the earth’s surface. This absorption by the various water surface of the earth gives rise to the life supporting water cycle on our planet.

Uses of Solar energy

Solar energy is fast becoming a crucial part of our daily process. Solar energy is being converted to electrical energy by solar panels and is then being used to power many electrical appliances in homes and offices across the globe.

There are specially designed solar cookers which function only in daylight. These cookers capture the sun’s energy to convert it into heat energy that can be used in cooking and heating common food items. These solar cookers are also being used for boiling water, drying foodstuffs and pasteurization of milk. These cookers can achieve temperatures ranging from 90 to 150 degree Celsius.

The solar panels are also being used to harness the solar energy into heat energy and then use this heat in water heating systems such as solar geysers in colder regions.

Energy Storage

The sun’s energy is not available at night and this makes it necessary to store the solar energy for future use. The methods are various and new ones are everyday invented. This shows mankind’s desperate need to fix major ecological imbalances.

Investment into Alternative Energy Research and Development

The US government must continue to back the expansion of the role of alternative energy research and development and its implementation by companies and homeowners. Although this writer believes in the reign of the free market and that “that government is best which governs least”, our current system has companies and people expecting federal backing of major initiative with direct investment, in the form of tax breaks, rebate incentives, and even direct central bank investment into the alternative energy industry.

The US and its citizenry need to invest all of the time and energy that they can spare to the conversion from a fossil fuel burning society to one that is green for several different reasons. The green economy will not harm the environment or the quality of our air like fossil fuel burning does. We can become the energy independent nation that we need to be by cutting away our need to import oil, especially oil that is produced by anti-American nations such as Iran. Ultimately, renewable energies and extremely efficient energies like atomic energy are far less expensive than the continuous mining and drilling for fossil fuels. If we do not invest in our future now, catastrophe awaits us. We are going to need to consume more energy than ever in our history as we sail into the 21st century and beyond—our dependency on foreigners for meeting these energy needs only leaves us open to sabotage while draining our coffers in order to fill other nations’.

It can be argued that federal, state, and local governments should work in conjunction on the issue of alternative energy research and development and implement mandatory programs for new home construction and all home remodeling that stipulate the installation of alternative energy power sources—eventually over a certain period of years transforming into 100% installation of alternative energy sources for any new home or corporate building—as well as backing a similar program to have all new vehicles produced in the nation be hybrid vehicles or hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles by the year 2020. All levels of government could also impose mandatory compliance laws on construction and utilities companies. The utility companies in all 50 states should be required to invest in alternative energy research and development while also being required to buy back, at fair rates, excess energy produced by homeowners through their use of alternative energy power sources. Strong financial incentives need to be in place for new companies to invest in developing renewable energies. This would not only make the US energy independent at the fastest possible rate, but it would stimulate the growth of the economy and provide tens of thousands of new, good-paying jobs for people.

Alternative energy generation in the forms of solar, wind, hydroelectric, biofuel, geothermal, and atomic; alternative energy storage systems such as more efficient batteris and hydrogen fuel cells; and alternative energy-furthering infrastructures with superior energy efficiency all need to be brought into the affordable price range through development. Government investment into these matters would surely help us along.

TRUSTEE: BANGLADESH GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED

CUSTODIAN: STANDARD CHARTERED BANK

RISK FACTORS

Investing in the Green Delta Mutual Fund (hereinafter the Fund) bears certain risks that investors shouldcarefully consider before investing in the Fund. Investment in the capital market and in the Fund bears certainrisks that are normally associated with making investments in securities including loss of principal amountinvested. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives. The Fund value canbe volatile and no assurance can be given that investors will receive the amount originally invested. Wheninvesting in the Fund, investors should carefully consider the risk factors outlined below, which are notnecessarily exhaustive or mutually exclusive:

1. General: There is no assurance that the Fund will be able to meet its investment objective and investors couldpotentially incur losses, including loss of principal when investing in the Fund. Investment in the Fund is notguaranteed by any government agency, the Sponsor or the AMC. Mutual funds and securities investments aresubject to market risks and there can be no assurance or guarantee that the Fund’s objectives will beachieved. As with any investment in securities, the Net Asset Value of the Fund may go up or down dependingon the various factors and forces affecting the capital markets. Past performance of the Sponsors and theiraffiliates and the AMC do not indicate the future performance of the Fund. Investors should study this OfferDocument carefully in its entirety before investing.

2. External Risk Factor: Performance of the Fund is substantially dependent on the macroeconomic situationand in the capital market of Bangladesh. Political and social instability may have an adverse effect on thevalue of the Fund’s assets. Adverse natural climatic condition may impact the performance of the Fund.

3. Market Risk: The Bangladesh capital market is highly volatile and mutual fund prices and prices ofsecurities can fluctuate significantly. The Fund may lose its value or incur a sizable loss on its investmentsdue to such market volatility. Stock market trends indicate that prices of majority of all the listed securitiesmove in unpredictable direction which may affect the value of the Fund. Furthermore, there is noguarantee that the market prices of the units of the Fund will fully reflect their underlying Net AssetValues.

4. Concentration Risk: Due to a limited number of listed securities in both the DSE and CSE, it may bedifficult to invest the Fund’s assets in a widely diversified portfolio as and when required to do so. Due to avery thin secondary fixed income/debt market in Bangladesh, it would be difficult for the Fund Manager toswap between asset classes, if and when required. Limited options in the money market instruments willnarrow the opportunity of short term or temporary investments of the Fund which may adversely impactthe returns.

5. Dividend Risk: Despite careful investment selection of companies in the Fund, if the companies fail toprovide the expected dividend or fail to disburse the dividends declared in a timely manner, this willimpact the income of the Fund and the overall return of the Fund.

6. Underlying Liquidity Risk: For investing in Pre-Public Offer Placement securities i.e. in unlisted equitysecurities by the Fund, may involve liquidity risk. In addition, market conditions and investment allocationmay have an impact on the ability to sell securities during periods of market volatility. Debt securities,while somewhat less liquid, lack a well-developed secondary market, which may restrict the selling abilityof the Fund and may lead to the Fund incurring losses till the security is finally sold. While securities thatare listed on the stock exchange carry lower liquidity risk, the ability to sell these investments is limited bythe overall trading volume on the stock exchanges and may lead to the Fund incurring losses till thesecurity is finally sold.

7. Investment Strategy Risk: Since the Fund will be an actively managed investment portfolio, the Fund issubject to management strategy risk. Although the AMC will apply its investment process and riskminimization techniques when making investment decisions for the Fund, there can be no guarantee thatsuch process and techniques will produce the desired outcome.

Of the many investment products out there, the MLP Mutual Fund has attracted a lot of interest with its recent introduction. Here is a brief review of its operations.

Master Limited Partnership (MLP) is a type of limited partnership that is publicly traded. There are two types of partners in this type of partnership.

Limited Partner

General Partner

The limited partner is the person or group that provides the capital to the MLP and receives periodic income distributions from the cash flow of MLP, whereas the general partner is the party responsible for managing the affairs of MLP and receives compensation that is linked to the performance of the venture.

If we look back at the history of MLP mutual fund, it can be observed that it is indeed a brief one. On May 12th 2010, SteelPath, a Dallas-based investment advisory firm, announced the launch of the SteelPath MLP Funds, the very first mutual fund family to provide access to the Master Limited Partnership asset class.

The SteelPath fund consists of portfolio managers and investment team with a six year track record at Alerian, the leading MLP indexing company. SteelPath uses research techniques like fundamental analysis in this emerging asset class, incorporating its bottoms-up, private-equity investment process with a risk management philosophy designed to protect capital and mitigate portfolio volatility. The mutual fund platform of firm seeks to provide high levels of current income along with portfolio diversification, protection against inflation and a low correlation to other asset classes.

SteelPath has introduced three new funds which are as follows:

MLP Income Fund – This fund provides a high level of current income with an inflation adjusted protection tool, a higher distribution yield compared to equity alternatives such as REITs (Real Estate Investment Trust) and Utilities. This feature makes the fund the lead performer amongst the three.

MLP Select 40 Fund – Consisting of 40 energy infrastructure MLPs, this fund seeks to outperform the broader equity markets. Select 40 fund portfolio provides diversification and risk elimination.

MLP Alpha Fund - The Alpha fund is a concentrated portfolio of 20 energy infrastructure MLPs that utilizes a securities selection procedure designed to unveil those MLPs with the best risk-adjusted opportunities for superior distribution growth and price performance.

These funds focus on energy infrastructure MLPs. This asset class is composed of companies that control and operate the physical assets that transport crude oil, natural gas and refined petroleum products, such as pipelines, as well as the associated storage facilities. These companies have long-term contracts with nominal exposure to commodity prices, therefore reducing volatility in income.

The SteelPath MLP mutual fund family offers options that have been designed to meet alternating investor needs while concentrating on a long-term investment tenure, diversified exposure and prudent risk management. All three funds have a Class A share asset class which can be procured by a minimum investment of $3000 by individuals, while the institutional class shares have been explicitly created to provide a cost efficient option for institutional investors from pension funds to insurance companies.

Special risk considerations are taken into account in case of these funds which are very similar to those associated with the direct ownership of energy infrastructure assets due to its policy of concentration in the securities of Master Limited Partnerships.

There sure has been alot of commercials about this new company Ignite Energy. But the advertisements have been rather confusing, to tell you the truth. As a I researched on this business, i uncovered interesting facts about them.

Ignite Energy has essentially been present since 2004 and is a part of Stream Energy. It only has a marketing method in Texas due to the energy deregulation, which helps them profit somewhat nicely. It was founded by Chris Domhoff the head of the Excel Company previous to it went bankrupt in 2004; in which he lost a sizeable amount of funds as did countless others. This spurred him to start Ignite powered by Stream Energy.

The business is just open to the residents of Texas. So there is defiantly a limit on profit here. Although they are not obtainable in all 50 states they do plan on expanding. There is an Energy company they use called Stream Energy and it seems the only way to draw on it is to be a part of the business, Ignite. They do use a little renewable energy except not near as greatly as others. Their value per “Kilowatt hour” was not much more high-priced than the typical corporation out there. There is no expense to exchange providers nor does it result in interruption. The billing changes of course however only if you decide to enroll. To evaluate Electricity companies you can go to www.powertochoose.org.

There is a $329.00 startup fee that is nonrefundable following 3 days and as well an not obligatory $19.95 monthly website fee and their yearly renewal charge in IA (Ignite Independent Associates) is currently 99 dollars. Customers have three package choices: Green and Clean, Fixed rate and a monthly variable rate. They have different levels that you can get to such as managing director, senior director and executive director. Their pay out seems slightly small compared to other compensation plans out there. You will need 10 current customers every month in order to meet the requirements for commissions. You will in fact need hundreds if not thousands of account to earn a substantial income.

So some nice things about the business, is that there are no inventory to stock and no monthly auto ships on products. No up-front expense for your customers to swap products. It has a moderately small charge of entry. From much research the business is boldly not a scam and for several people in Texas it works exceptionally well for them. So I hoped you enjoy this review on the Ignite Energy business opportunity and it’s story to help you establish your decision whether to work this company. If you choose to make this energy business your MLM opportunity you need to know how make your opportunity attractive to your prospects using the capability of the internet.

Do you want a simple high return investment that you can understand, can invest in easily, pay no management fees and have the chance over the next 6 months to make 50 100%?

Then this article is for you.

This investment is one a commodity where demand is set to increase dramatically and the commodity is natural gas which we covered here in an article at the weekend.

An investment in gas is environmentally friendly, easy to do, diversifies your portfolio and can produce gains far in excess of your stock or mutual funds.

It’s a simple buy and hold strategy. Here is the background:

High crude oil will drive natural gas prices higher

Crude oil prices are expensive, natural gas prices are cheap.

Many utilities are making the switch now to natural gas. With oil prices high natural gas pick up the slack

Crude oil is affected by geo political concerns and the US is dependant on imports. On the other hand natural gas is produced domestically.

Supply will lag demand

Demand is on the move and at the moment supply exceeds it but not for much longer and this is hat will turn natural gas into a high return investment.

New fields are not coming on quick enough, to replace old fields that are being depleted.

In the short term we have the prospect of a very hot summer and increased demand for air conditioning as a result. We also have forecast one of the most active hurricane seasons on record.

These short term events could make gas a high return investment even quicker than expected.

Finally, this high return investment is ecologically friendly it’s clean and many people like this, so it is the fuel of choice for many.

Investing in gas is easy

At present prices are 50% below their recent highs, a bottom is forming and we expect prices to go higher.

Trading the move

You don’t need a fund manager here; all you need is to get in the market with options to take advantage of this high return investment.

Options offer you the prospect of unlimited gains with risk limited to just the premium paid. Investors therfore should buy at, or in the money options at current levels, with plenty of time value to expiry, to ride out short term volatility.

A simple investment

However, that does not mean that this one will not become a high return investment!

Consider the facts above and decide for yourself.

If you want a diversification away from boring under performing mutual funds and to have the prospect of gains that will make your fund manager green with envy, then consider doing it for yourself and a high return investment such as natural gas.

The global world today has got no other choice than to embrace the new world of alternative energy which has bring the increase in companies working in accordance with what the world today needs as regards energy use is been focused on alternative energy.

The industrial world globaly know that the implications of relying too much on fossil fuel source of energy is the only pending doom they are yet to experince either in it’s shortage or repercussion to companies alike.

Alternative energy company do not just rely on the changes they can make by manufacturing renewable materials for the needed change they want to see they also make effort to creating more of an awarenaess to the cause of energy usage and the depletion it may hold in stock for us if we don’t know what it is we use.

Companies like this are renowned for their constant production of needed materials to facilitate the better world they wish for while still in the race for profits to sustain their service.

In the year 2008 was the boom in companies that manufacture renewable energy equipment like this had their boom in the global market were investors contributed to the growth of this comapnies on large scale which as earned them a stagering $100 million in market share globally.

With an estimation of over $20 trillion in the next two decades to come if demand moves at the rate it is currently.

With the huge expantion this companies are been exposed to currently the rete which employment in the field of green energy as expanded is another thing to celebrate.

Which has made for the employment of simple artisan, bycycle repairer to school teachers who now have a say in loads of field with alternative energy companies.
