If this type of idea would work at scale huge amounts of barrels of oil shale now thought to be not allowed due to immeasureable co2 released in the production would be available being an power source.

You don’t know anything yet. Read on all of this as it all comes together in
the last part … a must read!
So. . . now we know, but now what does anyone do about it?
This is an interesting story put together from various articles and TV
shows by the British Times paper. It shows what Obama and his friends
are really all about. It’s not hope and change, it is money.
I warn you, the first part is a little boring, but stick with it. The
second part connects all the dots for you (it will open your eyes). The
end explains how Obama and all his cronies will end up as
multi-billionaires. (It’s definitely worth the read. You will not be
disappointed).

Why do republicans call Al Gore a scam artist when all he is doing is trying to make their selfish lives better. His massive investments in Green Technology are not to get rich, but too fund good ideas. But in order for these ideas to work, he needs laws to force companies to buy these new and expensive technologies.
We had our chance to elect a solid individual and instead got 8 years of Bush. We can all help now by supporting the upcoming cap and trade legislation. We have to make it hard and expensive for businesses that pollute to make a living here.

Australian Government direct investment in developing fossil fuels is 50 times what it’s investing in alternative energy – apart from tax and other subsidies to fossil fuel industries. Gas-guzzling 4-wheel drive vehicles (mostly “urban tractors”) attract low sales tax. Investment in freeway is many multiples of investment in public transport. Urban planning revolves around motor vehicles and costly commuting – and exponential population growth (including subsidies for new births) in defiance of increasing water shortage, and desertification of former “food bowls”. Globally enormous Government and other investment is pouring into increasing international air travel. Economics revolves around “growth” of unsustainable consumerism. And so it goes. What do you see where you are?

I’ll start. E85 is a mostly renewable fuel made from grains and plant matter right here in the U.S.A., not imported from overseas. That means more jobs for U.S. workers and more money stays in the U.S. economy. Even corn ethanol provides 1.5+ units of energy for each unit of fossil fuel energy involved (the sun provides the rest). Only 1/6 of a gallon of petroleum goes into making 1 gallon of corn ethanol–even better with other ethanol feed stocks! Flex Fuel Vehicles often only experience a 10% to 20% decrease in fuel economy, while one myth is that it is reduced 30% (low E85 fuel prices make up the 10% to 20% difference). There will be untrue negative myths posted to this question, but I am counting on those who actually use E85 fuel to refute and educate!

It’s pretty long…but substantial. Please take the time to read all of it.
Energy:
In an effort to force our nation to increase its reliance on alternative or renewable energy sources, it has been thought of to increase the taxes on fossil fuels. However, this will help rise the tax price which will trickle down and be passed to the customer.
Obama wants to increase taxes of fossil fuels.
McCain is opposed.
62% of Americans are opposed.
35% support.
Some people want to begin drilling in ANWR. What isn’t well known is that the drilling would only cover 2,000 acres of 19 million. This would provide energy while we work on new ways that will eventually replace oil.
Obama says no to drilling.
McCain says yes.
55% of Americans say yes to drilling.
35% say no to drilling.

Solar energy is a form of renewal energy which supplies you power for your domestic and commercial use. At present the use of renewal energy is very popular as it is very environment friendly and it is a renewal source. These are also very cost-effective. Our solar energy systems in California are really cheap and easy to install also. Since our solar energy systems are powered 100% by the sun and harness all its energy through a natural photovoltaic process, there are no gases, by-products or harmful effects on the environment. With traditional energy production, there are harmful by-products that adversely affect the ecosystem, which is why solar energy systems are superior both cost-wise and environmentally. When everyone does their part to help create a healthier, cleaner planet, it makes a big overall impact on the world we live in. We offer you an all-in-one service provider, including custom design, financing, installation and ongoing system monitoring. Solar energy system manages your project from beginning to end. With solar, you’ll spend less money on power bills. You save money right away and protect yourself from yearly electricity rate increases. Over time, investing in solar can save you more money than stocks or bonds. This long-term return on your solar investment is another economic benefit of switching to solar power.
Using solar power – instead of power that your utility made from “dirty” fossil fuels – decreases the amount of greenhouse gases and other pollutants we release into the atmosphere. Installing solar panels makes you less dependent on foreign energy sources and means you’re less dependent on “brown” energy from the power grid too. You can find that our solar panels are really attractive and possible to buy in affordable price. Our solar energy systems always provide you the valuable services in cheap rate.

New ideas attract followers.
When people want to find out more about a new technology or idea, they often form a community to share information about it.
So that today, every new innovation from basic household items to the latest in technology, real or imagined, will have news about it.
The same applies to alternative energy.
