In China, the stocks of the solar energy in the Chinese Stock Market are blazing in the recent times, but the gasoline stocks doesn’t  seems to be much bullish when compared to the solar energy stocks. The vital part is the Chinese stock trading is that, the traders are purchasing the stock in large quantity and most of them are more focused on the solar stocks. The National Development and Reform Commission in China, the officials of this commission declared that, the country concentrates on the development of the green energy policy. The report declared by the Bloomberg declared that citing by Xie Zhenhua, the vice chair person of the Development and Reform Commission , China is taking large measures on tax incentives , cost reformation and financial subsidies to inspire on the ecology and power preservation for the next five years.

The recent news announced by the Bloomberg survey tells that, the solar energy sector is an emerging sector and it is welcomed globally, but it has its own pros and cons. The examination performed by the solar analysts established the cost of the solar stocks will not fall below the amount which was predicted the previous year and hoped for the best. DuPont, electronics and communications firm made predictions that the sales of the photovoltaic stocks will reach billion in the days to come and the materials used in the production of the photovoltaic applications is the most vital factor for its success and it has produced 64,000 kilowatt of solar energy from the photovoltaic applications for the past three years.

* Corporate research, development and deployment (RD&D) into clean energy has continued to grow year on year, reaching a total of $10.5bn in 2007, up from $8.37bn in 2006. The figures show the EMEA (Europe Mid-East and Africa) region taking the largest share, with AMER (Americas) closely following and ASOC (Asia-Pacific) somewhat lagging behind.

* 57.6% of clean energy RD&D investment came from EMEA based companies, 33.8% from AMER and 8.6% from ASOC. Utility / energy companies and technology firms have the highest clean energy RD&D budgets in general, with the top 5 firms being GE, United Technologies, BP, E.ON and BASF in descending order.

Different forms of energy sources have helped us in many ways from running our vehicles to cooking at home or generating electricity. There are two types of energy sources – renewable and non-renewable energy resources. The former is where the energy resources do not get depleted and they can be used repeatedly whereas non-renewable energy resources cannot be used again and again.

We cannot even imagine a life without the existence of fossil fuels like crude oil; coal and natural gas but usage of these energy resources creates lot of problems. Global warming, increase in prices of fossil fuels and the threat of peak oil are major concerns around the globe but what steps are we taking to overcome all these issues? If we stop consuming fossil fuels, we can stop global warming and save non renewable energy resources for our future generations to deploy but at the same time we need to seek an alternative to meet our requirements. We come cross these topics on television, internet and magazines and there is a lot of debate going on with regards to these topics. Is it possible for us to overcome this crisis? Only alternative energy solutions can help us as well as our environment to some extent.

I was watching this week with George Snufalufagus and Nancy said she will not allow a straight vote on Offshore drilling because she wants an energy standard (higher energy costs ) put in place to make alternative energy sources viable for investment.
So In other words.. They want the prices to go higher to make the alternatives more viable?

The concept of “clean tech” is a response to the projected population growth on the planet, which is estimated to be 2.3 billion people by the 2050. The theory is that clean tech companies, which address environmental sustainability as part of their overall business strategy for profitability, will be the model that successful companies will have to use in order address the increasing demand for food, clothing, shelter and other scarce resources that will only increase as incomes rise across the globe.
