what you need to realize about solar stocks

Article by Richard Smith

The current economic situation shows us that almost everything is down on the stock markets. So, if you are interested in the solar stocks, you should know that they have also been hit quite hard, losing important percentages. The latest NASDAQ report highlights the fact that there is no good news with regard to the solar energy sector. As this agency announces, the solar energy stocks are continuously getting negative margins especially due to the “inventory provision recorded on high-cost inventory”.

The way forward lies in green investment. No, I’m not talking about dollars, though that too will follow inevitably. I’m talking about greening your small business. And the many successful entrepreneurs who have managed to build sustainable businesses without sacrificing ethics or the environment.

The Obama government has set apart billions of dollars to encourage green business ideas and initiatives. Various finance sources such as tax credits, loans and grants are available to fund green buildings and energy efficient ventures at national, state and local levels. Homeowners, businesses, non-profit organizations and government organizations can take advantage of these opportunities to convert their green ideas into action.

Chapter 1: Introduction

In the dissertation I will try to show how young Muslims become radicalized by Islam and ultimately join terrorist organisations. Firstly focusing on Albert Cohen’s work on the delinquent subculture, I will look at how young boys become part of a delinquent group. Is it just the working class who are frustrated by society, who feel inferior to the middle class and feel they must reject society and create their own set of rules, values and norms. However is it also the middle class boys who feel isolated by their position in society, frustrated at that fact their parents set high standards and give them no freedom and then they ultimately become delinquent. I will then focus on the work by Ian Buruma who wrote ‘Murder in Amsterdam’ and look at what drove Mohammed Bouyeri to murder Theo Van Gogh. What made Bouyeri commit a murderous act? Was it that society rejected him, made him feel inferior, was it jealously of Western culture, and did he turn to Islam for answers. Mohammed Bouyeri’s frustrations are similar to that of the young delinquent boy’s frustrations in Cohen’s work. I will then discuss the radical loser and sexual inadequacy and see if these factors can also cause young Muslim men to become Islamic extremists. Following on from this, I will then look at what possible responses there are to counter Islamic terrorism and finally offer a conclusion on the topic.

In introducing the topic, why is the West despised so much by the Middle East? Why do young Muslims join Islamic extremist groups with the goal to commit murder? What can these extremist groups offer young men? Is it that they’re frustrated by society and feel they must take revenge on the infidels? Where does the future lie for other young Muslims? What are the responses to Islamic terrorism? These questions will be answered and hopefully shed some light on this difficult area.

Universities Don’t Need Any More Money?

Fat Cat Universities Don’t Need Any More Money

College affordability is a problem, with tuition, room & board averaging above $31,000 a year. Reason to boost government aid, as the incoming Speaker says she will? Nope: That “solution” will only make things worse. Here’s why:

Colleges charge outrageous prices knowing that Washington always deflects cost. Consider that qualified students are eligible to receive $4,050 in Pell Grants per year and up to $23,000 per undergrad degree in Stafford Loans (the two main sources of federal student aid). That means there is at least $16,200 in Pell Grants and $23,000 in federal loans currently set aside to offset costs. That’s a whole lot of green college administrators can play with—$39,200 to be exact—when calculating the sticker price. What incentives do schools have to be price-friendly and economically resourceful when the opposite behavior will multiply its piggybank? The government’s “helping hand” gives colleges a perverse market incentive to inflate costs.

Cooking and heating are done with the help of fossil fuels. Apart from this, they are used for other purposes as well. It’s high time we switched to alternative energy sources as fossil fuels are non renewable. The importance of using renewable and environmental friendly energy sources needs to be realized by the entire world before we face a major crisis. With the advancement in technology, using alternative energy sources such as solar power, nuclear power and wind power will be easy. An advantage of using renewable sources is that the economy will improve and at the same time this will lead to the creation of job opportunities.

Nature is God’s gift to mankind. Sun and wind can be used free of cost as nature doesn’t expect anything in return from us. Electricity can be generated with the help of solar and wind energy. There are numerous reasons as to why we need an alternative energy. The prices of fossil fuels are rising; the oil reserves are at the verge of getting depleted and moreover they contribute to global warming. Shortage in the supply of crude oil has become a major crisis in few countries but in the case of alternative energy sources like solar energy, wind energy, bio fuels etc there won’t be a shortage and moreover there will be abundant supply of these renewable energy sources.

As president, Hillary will:

Lower taxes for middle class families by: extending the middle class tax cuts including child tax credit and marriage penalty relief, offering new tax cuts for healthcare, college and retirement, and expanding the EITC and the child care tax credit.
Harness the power of innovation to create high wage jobs of the 21st Century. Investments in alternative energy can create new jobs for the 21st century; expanded access to broadband will bring opportunities to underserved and disadvantaged communities; the manufacturing base can be re-energized through creative partnerships; and increased government support for research will stimulate the development of new technologies and life-saving medicines. Hillary will restore integrity to science policy, reversing Bush administration policies that are holding our nation back.
Empower our workers and ensure that all Americans contribute their fair share. Hillary will ensure that unions, which have played an important role in forming and sustaining the middle class, are strong. She will also ensure that trade policies work for average Americans. Trade policy must raise our standard of living, and they must have strong protections for workers and the environment.
Restore the basic bargain. Hillary will restore the basic bargain that if Americans work hard and take responsibility, government will do its part to make sure they have the tools to get ahead.
Return to fiscal responsibility. After six and a half year of President Bush’s fiscal irresponsibility, Hillary wants America to regain control of its destiny. She will move back toward a balanced budget and surpluses. Hillary believes that we should develop a set of budget rules similar to those we had in the 90s which required us to fund new expenditures with new revenues or cuts in other areas.
Keep the rhetoric going it is really making people think twice about Obama!

Big trucks and SUVs are expected to out sell cars and hybrids! Just because gas prices have dropped AGAIN!? How dumb can people be? This happens every few years, the oil Co.s Rape Americans at the gas pumps and then we all start screaming for electric cars. Then, as soon as the Big 3 start to make the cars we need to clean up the air and reduce our need for Mid east oil (#1 source of funding for the terrorists who want to kill us) Americans forget the $4.50 per gal. gas and the big three scrap the high millage car production we begged them to start. Then in a year or so we are back up to $4a gal gas, only next time it will be $7-$9 per Gal.! President Obama Promised “I will not forget just because the oil co.s drop prices again, I will push for Green vehicles”. When will Americans learn from their history? even if it was just a few months ago?
